The thing about my life...

Kodak easy share...hmph...
it is proving to be a little more than a normal average American girl (who is NOT a techie) can handle. 3 nights ago, I was on "online chat" with a "person" named
JORDAIN..from who knows where..although this person had a very pleasing attitude, and was very willing to help me with my "most unappealing problem" the person really didn't help me a bit..Kodak easy share has my photos..locked in the space and time continum..whatever..I can see them for about 2 seconds..then..POOF..kodak has experienced a problem and needs to shut down. after 4 hours..I was EXHAUSTED.. and fuming..
Anyway..back to what I was getting at.
the thing about my life, yes...

Here is my red headed self a couple of years ago at Christmas with the 2ND most excellent surprise in my whole entire life..and hes got blue eyes just like me.

This little dumpling..she is wearing my dress. My daddy bought this for me when he was very very far away from me on my first birthday. (fighting a war, he was) I still have the note he wrote me..and this beautiful little dress..she wore it for her grandpa at Christmas a couple years ago..

The number one son..growing at rapid fire pace..more than I care to admit..
The little peeps and their "Big-bad-dad"
A summer birthday party
the little nugget and her mama..
and the even littler nugget with her, oh my goodness, even blonder mama..

Anyway..the thing about my life.
Its just about the best life a girl could ever wish for..
EVER..
Thank you, family!!
Rich in love-

Can you believe what we are seeing?

Ive temporarily changed the background of my blog to green to express solidarity with those who yearn for freedom in Iran. If you have a blog or website of your own, wont you please consider the same?
As you may or may not be aware, a Presidential election was held in Iran this past weekend. And as many expected, incumbent Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was “re-elected” to a second four year term by a substantial margin over reform candidate Mir Hussein Moussavi.
Despite widespread allegations of election fraud, Ahmadinejad and the forces under his control (the Revolutionary Guard, intelligence services, and so on) are moving to consolidate power and quash dissent from the reformists, who advocate greater freedom and a more pragmatic approach to the economy, international relations, and social conditions (including women's rights in particular), and a more conciliatory face to the West.
Many of our fellow .NET developers in Tehran, including Keyvan Nayyeri and Mahdi Taghizadeh, have turned “citizen journalists” and are trying to get the word out about conditions on the ground through services like Twitter, despite deliberate government interruptions of communication and Internet services meant to quell political opposition. Believe it or not, following their tweets has been more enlightening than watching or reading the mainstream media, who don't seem willing or able to devote the time and attention this important story deserves. If you like, you can follow Keyvan and Mahdi on Twitter yourself.
If you live in the USA or any free country; where you are allowed to say what you want, do what you want, elect the leaders you want, read the blogs you want, and march in the streets if you want, then take a couple of minutes and show your support for these brave men and women who want nothing more or less than to enjoy the same freedoms you and I take for granted every single day.
It won’t take much. Put a green background on your blog or website for a week. It’s a small gesture, but it would mean a lot.
Just do it. And be thankful that you can.

ALMOST THERE!!

Hello there, my fine feathered friends..
I am having major camera malfunctions..I have spoken of these in the past.
Irritating to say the least.
I take the photo, but it wont download to Kodak..
Grrrr.
Anyhoo.
Here is a photo of the room for laundry.
TOO DARK..
I cannot download better photos at this moment.
I think this camera has been with me too long and is taking on a role as a female camera..
shes only going to do what she wants when she wants to.
~~~
Just like her owner, I guess.
:)
I know its a dark photo, but ....
A little trip to Oly...
Hubby wanted to take a quick trip to Olympia at the beginning of last week.
Steve loves loves loves that Farmers Market down at the waterfront. It was a gorgeous day, so my girl and myself decided to tag along. What the heck..
Great day for some pretty shots down at the marina..
Obviously, someone was living on this sailboat..what an experience that would be.
(isn't that right, Lori?)
It was a perfect day, we ate a little lunch on the deck. Everything was perfect..
Except..Except for one thing that we came for, the Farmers Market
was closed...
ha ha ha ha..
That's what you get in this family.
Word...
:)
A dinner for 2+..
This handsome dude is so multi-talented..Have I ever told you that?
I should gloat, but. One of my other favorite things he does is cook.
Barbeque, to be exact.
His salmon is TO DIE FOR..no photo :(
nothing quite like a little roasted garlic and french bread to add to the aroma of the evening.
The wine is just a silly prop.. (hmmm)
What is my deal with the food photos, lately? This blog is getting BORING!!!
Hope everyone is enjoying the pleasures of the gorgeous weather..
and the "almost" having children home for the summer..
4 1/2 days here...
Happy Monday..
The men in my life...
I cannot believe that these little boys are growing up so fast!
well, not the biggest one, there, but those two in the funny twirler hats..
This photo was taken when my little Reagan girl was just a newborn, well..she was 6 months, is that still a newborn?
I have great memories of this day, it was so beautiful. We were out at the beach with my parents. The "Harley weekend" was in full swing, must have numbered in the thousands, the thundering roar was awesome to hear- needless to say, the boys loved looking at all of the parked bikes.
This photo is of my parents and Uncle Dick..Hes a Harley boy from Port Angeles. He is also married to my Aunt Don, who has a store like my mamas in PA. Its Baby Grand, if your ever up there you should stop by!
We also saw Uncle Butch, who is my dads very best friend from WAAAAAAy back, he is a sign painter, pinstriper and all around artsy fartsy. He had a booth at the show and was just painting free-hand, anything anyone wanted on their motorcycles..It was awesome to watch him. Talented to say the least..
Then we went out to the jetty and boat launch, no wind, not a lot of folks, just a wonderful warm day with my little family.
hello there cutie pie, little blue eyes..Finn is his mamas boy all the way..
again with the "where does the time go"...
Ryan at Lake Quinault..seems like yesterday..
Friday he graduates to the 7th grade.
Seems like I was just holding his hand to his first day in Kindergarten.....
la la lemony....
Did I ever tell you how much I love a lemon?
Guess what, I love a lemon.. (and a good cocktail...)
mmmm. I think I love the color just as much as the scent.. and then, theres the taste..
I really couldn't possibly choose a favorite dessert with lemon, but a lemon bar comes pretty close to perfection, in my book.
YOU?
I was at Costco with my hubby last week, they had a large bag of lemons for $5
FIVE BUCKS..out here I pay $1 EACH..
needless to say, I bought said bag and am thinking of a great dessert..(and cocktail) for this week. I could go with the old standby, Ina's lemon bars..but was wondering if you had a favorite up your sleeve..
Help a sister out and divulge your best lemon recipe to Coastal Nest..
Cant wait..or maybe you could tell me your "passion fruit"
Happy Monday!
2 weeks till schools out
WHOOOOOOT!!
A little peek and an oar-some score
This is the home I speak of when I say we need a paint job..
Shes a beauty, isn't she!! Love this place with all my heart..I really want to paint her that yellow color from ""back here..""
really, REALLY..what do you think..
Then there's these..They have been for sale at a local place I go (and have a booth) for a while now. $85 buckaroos..I was telling the owner how much I craved them, but alas..the $85 was a little steep..really?
ALOT steep.
They were his..
HE GAVE THEM TO ME!!!
Oh, my holy green goodness..
I am going to have to find a boat now...
he he he..
:)
