The men in my life...

I cannot believe that these little boys are growing up so fast!
well, not the biggest one, there, but those two in the funny twirler hats..
This photo was taken when my little Reagan girl was just a newborn, well..she was 6 months, is that still a newborn?
I have great memories of this day, it was so beautiful. We were out at the beach with my parents. The "Harley weekend" was in full swing, must have numbered in the thousands, the thundering roar was awesome to hear- needless to say, the boys loved looking at all of the parked bikes.
This photo is of my parents and Uncle Dick..Hes a Harley boy from Port Angeles. He is also married to my Aunt Don, who has a store like my mamas in PA. Its Baby Grand, if your ever up there you should stop by!

We also saw Uncle Butch, who is my dads very best friend from WAAAAAAy back, he is a sign painter, pinstriper and all around artsy fartsy. He had a booth at the show and was just painting free-hand, anything anyone wanted on their motorcycles..It was awesome to watch him. Talented to say the least..

Then we went out to the jetty and boat launch, no wind, not a lot of folks, just a wonderful warm day with my little family.

hello there cutie pie, little blue eyes..Finn is his mamas boy all the way..

again with the "where does the time go"...

Ryan at Lake Quinault..seems like yesterday..
Friday he graduates to the 7th grade.
Seems like I was just holding his hand to his first day in Kindergarten.....

Ah, you made me cry - I'm NOT ready to think about this stuff.

Last year (Stella was 5 months old) and I read the portion of the kids' yearbook where parents of seniors can purchase a page and write to their son/daughter. So many wrote about how it seemed like just yesterday that they were born, or taking their first steps. I sat in my room reading them and just sobbed!!! I thought it was pregnancy that made me emotional... nope, being a Mama does too!

Love seeing pics of the fam!

I don't have kids yet, but you've got me thinking about them growing up too fast! I love that picture of you and Finn.

Just a little something from Judy said...

You are right, they do grow up so fast. Two nights ago I went upstairs to the three empty bedrooms and I felt deep sadness. It truly did go so fast!! I really enjoyed all of your photos, especially the one of your and your son. Good looking group. If my husband would have been there with his Harley, he would have gotten something painted on his bike. Do you have any pictures of what he painted?

It's so cliche but they really do go up soooo fast. Too fast. It seems like yesterday we brought our daughter home and she will be in 2nd grade in August. Just too fast. Love your pictures by the way. :)

I always check your blog and love to read it. I know what you mean about everyone growing up so fast. My last child just graduated from high school and will start college in August. I will now have two in college and one living in Oregon doing very well for himself. Time flies. I love life and the changes that comes along with it. I'm looking forward to getting reacquainted with my hubby. . .
Enjoy those little ones! :) They are darling. You can visit me at

Ah shucks, I detect a little Mumsie moment here Lise, but you're allowed. As much as I adore all our mob, let me tell you girl, all their bedrooms are empty - YAH!!!! And the funny thing is all 5 of them talk about how offended they were that the tears I was shedding the days they all finally left were not due to sadness, but unmitigated JOY!!!

my gosh aren't you all a beautiful family! Those little boys-- please! So adorable!

Thanks for the advice yesterday about moving. We are relatively young, no kids, and an adventurious spirit! I think we may just do it!

Awwwww....Mama! You have MUCH to be proud of. Cherish each moment (which I know you most certainly do!) 'cause my oldest baby is now 16 and I'm wondering where the time went! I enjoy seeing how much you love each of them so much!!! It's evident in every word you type.
