My house..before and after...the series

As you might wonder..What the hell?
These are a few photos of a new series I am going to start for my blog.
Before and After..
If you can believe, this..its my and BobVillas room while we were looking at this place to purchase it. I know you love it. you love that great green tape trim around the wallpaper, and the great light fixture..
and totally the twin beds..one thing we are not is twin bed sleepers..Cute beds though..
This was the family home of the people who lived here for many many years.
Now it is a new family home to the people who live here...for many many years to come.
WE love this place..
yes, she still sleeps in here, god love her. Mostly shes in the middle of the bed with us..The crib bed is just for show, along with her big girl bedroom..made perfect as it could be for her by her mom and dad..but nooooooo. she likes us too much.
more to follow people..and it aint pretty..

Bee-you-tiful!! But how do you keep your comforter so white? I love my hubby and all... but he wreaks havoc on white bed linens!

Can't wait to see more! This is the stuff I love.

Love your gorgeous room! You clearly had a vision for that space which might have difficult for people who couldn't see past that wallpaper!

Man, this looks like the bedroom in our old cape cod. Loved it. I wanted it to look like your after photo, but alas...it looked more like the before. I knew what I wanted to do with it...but knew also that we would not stay. Did I ever tell you that my Mom is an interior designer? Our taste is completely different...she is traditional...I am eclectic...I am sure you are shocked by that. BTW...can you include a photo of BV in the bed next time? I am going to hell, just like Sister Mary Catherine said....

Also, just so you know...my kids seem to find their way into my bed also...well, the 16 year old hasn't been there in a while...nor the 12 year old...you know what I mean.

Hi! I saw your hilarious comment on my Blissfully Domestic post ("I'm Hooked on Houses--Are You?") and had to come check your blog out. This is a great makeover! What a wonderful bedroom.

And I got a kick out of the light fixture that was in there before. My in-laws still have that exact same one hanging in their kitchen! I had never seen one like that before. Now I know it had a twin. -Julia :-)

love this = my daughter never spent the night in her darling nursery. not one - well, I take that back - the first two nights at home, I tried. she spent the next 12 years in our bed. haha!! loved that. even now at 17, when something goes wrong and her heart is hurt, we sleep together. I would still do it every night if she would let me!
