I have been doing allot of ALLOT of different things lately, girls.
One of them just happens to be spending an extraordinary fabulous time with this little brown eyed girl, right here. She, now is a reading fiend. Readit-mama. MAMA readit. So, I oblige for about an hour and then send her on her merry way to READ IT to her girls. I made this little tent for over her bed.
NO
I
AM
NO
SEAMSTRESS..
I surely didn't think it was very hard to do, AT ALL.
sheets from Ross. I purchased a king set and a queen set.
hoola hoop..
some extra light pink and darker pink yardage--from the walmarts..
Just started flying by the seat of my pants. (oh, and a little Velcro)
My darling sister and beautiful mama helped me a little, by talking me through the pattern in our heads.
It was fun to do!
(when she goes to sleep)
((((NOT IN MY BED))))
Now I am sure you are saying..Lisa..you have that eldest boy complaining about not having a room of his own, why not give her room to him?
NOPE, I'm not doing it. I got too much good advise from some great girlfriends (here) telling me that they wouldn't split up the boys. Cutzi's and especially Milly's comments cemented the deal for me.
**THANKS GIRLYS**
Anyway, I thought I would share a cute girl and a cute craft off today.
Isn't she adorable, reading to her little darlings
I know one thing I'm going to do tonight when she tip toes in and tries to get into our bed..
Mommy is going to snuggle her close to her daddy..
and go play princess in
I love ya
Reagan!

That first shot of Reagan reading Madeline is gorgeous. What a cutie!
Oh my gosh, Lisa....so much to say:
Reagan is the cutest little pumpkin EVER.
I can't believe you MADE THAT! I love mix of fabrics you used!
When I come visit you, can I sleep in Reagan's bed?
You gave me a real good idea for my little granddaughter's bed. So adorable! Your creativity comes shining through in everything you do. Talented lady!
Adorable Lisa! I love that last shot of her with the light all glowy.
And speaking of light... love those sconces!
Oh! And wise choice on the bedroom situation. Thanks for the shout-out. ;-)
Such a cute little princess bed!
Oh how sweet! I would love to to do this for my daughters! Beautiful blog!
What cute pictures! Great post.
Adorable is definitely the word I'd choose!! So much cuteness. Love the pics of the bed and the little reader. :-)
Oh how very sweet! Makes me miss my girls when they were that age -- and how they would have loved that princess canopy!
Lucky little girl.

Love it! I guess you were the one paying attention in Miss Vickers Home Ec . . . you have inspired me yet again.
That tent is absolutely precious. I miss my little girl.
I'm sorry - you have to be some sort of seamstress to pull that off. That is the cutest thing ever - it reminds me of the tent little Sophie and Olivia had in the movie "The Holiday". Magical. What a nice mama you are!!!
Oh my gosh! i just love what you did with the hoola hoop! It's so adorable.
Reagan is just the sweetest little girl-and I wish my bedroom looked as magical as hers does!!
I remember youu makking that!! :)
You are a genius. I love that you made her the cute "princess" tent. Love it and the pictures you took. They are beautiful.
Cynthia
So, so gorgeous - both the tent & of course, the cute little button enjoying every minute of it!
