Hi, I had to laugh as I was looking through the photos when I saw the sign in the kitchen stating "Morton's Salt When it Rains It Pours". Whoever made that sign should have been more careful with the name of the product because it should be "Morton Salt When It Rains It Pours!" My hubby worked for Morton Salt and its parent company Morton Norwich (now the parent company is Rohm & Haas Corp) when we lived in Chicago. We have many items with the Morton Salt label. Anyways great pictures!Teacup Lady (Sandy)
It's me again. I just showed the photo and sign to my hubby and he said it could be a very old sign. He is going to look it up for me to see if at one time the company went by Morton's Salt. I'll let you know what he finds out.Teacup Lady (Sandy)
I stand corrected. My hubby directed me to Morton Salt's website and I found a vintage sign that had Morton's Salt on it. Needless to say the company doesn't use that name anymore. The website is:http://www.mortonsalt.com/heritage/vintage_ads.htmlTeacup Lady (Sandy)
I love every single pictures! Hope your having a great week~Bristol
