I, for one, am glad this election is over..OVER!!
I was moved by President Obamas acceptance speech last night.
Also, I hope he will bring this WONDERFUL COUNTRY I love so much around like he says hes going to.
I think that John McCain was beautiful last night.
A man of honor, integrity and a man who loves his country to the core, so much. No one has given more. Thank you Mr McCain.
~~
Congratulations Barack Obama
the people have spoken..now its time to get to work!

Well said! :)
I'm proud of you Ms.Lisa. I'm feeling oddly emotional today. I didn't expect that. Hugs to you, Jen
I'm with ya sista! The expectation level is very high for him I hope he can live up to it.

You're so mature. I am not so happy.
I'm really proud of you. Maybe I'll take the high road too. If you're on it, that's where I want to be!
I came to give you my condolences but doesn't look like you need them!
Hugs!!!
hi...I've been lurking awhile...found you via my sister's blog (kats whimsy).
I watched from australia, thank you channel 9 for live coverage.
Thanks for blogging on the election...I felt exactly the same way. Although I voted McCain, I was proud of our country and moved to (surprised) tears by both speeches, and no one to share it with. Sure, the world watched, and aussies were pretty into it, but it wasn't their country, flag or next president.
Perhaps being so far from my homeland made me more emotional than usual, but wow!
so thank you :)
It was an emotional and powerful evening for the entire country!! Yes we can...
So true...now that the election is over we can get on with the business of making this much needed change a reality.
well said indeed.
I am so proud of you girl. I too, found goodness in both.
