The case for a church pew...

Holy hotness..

There's something about a church pew that just floats my boat.

When the shop very first started, we had the best one, it looked just exactly like this. Only thing was, whoever had it prior -cut it down, so it was only about 4 (perfect) feet long.

I remember when I spotted it, I was dating a very hot very handsome Navy boy from Bremerton. He was down with going junking with me one day.....what was his name??? It escapes me at the moment. He was nice enough to put it in his very hot, very sexy, car trunk (mustang, red, nice) and drag it home to my house (and shop) for me. It was a great buy, and sold nearly the day after I doubled the price and added it to the shops collection of treasures..
~

Why did I let that church pew go? That Navy boy go? Alas, little did I know my fate was sealed
sitting on that church pew once it got to the shop I had an epiphany, of a much more handsome, much more sexy MARINE devil dog with dark hair and a brooding eye. A local boy, but who???

Bobby boy was on his way to me..little did I know, and I didn't know..not for many more years..

we would we meet. Again.

and oh the love!

stay tuned....

(and that Navy boy..he just wasn't that into me- and that was okay. Bruce)

:::::::::::::update:::::::::::::

My little baby in last post, well..shes MUCH better now, she had a very BAD bladder infection last week, with promises of hospitalization if there wasn't improvement by Sunday (last). After a hearty injection of heavy antibiotic on Friday she bounced right back and is her chipper old self--"lets go to pre-school mama!" So, that's where she is!

Thanks for the prayers!

Oh how I love church pews! I've been looking for a good one for a while. I know a couple who actually put one in their long narrow living rooms. It works perfectly!

LOL.........I love those kind of stories!
Love the church pew too. Wish I had a wall big enough to put one on so it looked all cute and swanky like the one in the picture.

Don't leave me hanging like that. I share in your love of a church pew for sure! Can you come over today? I need some re-arranging...and can't come up with it on my own. Bring a church pew.

I am glad your little monkey is better. Mine is back at school today as well. If you were here, we would start drinking in a half an hour (noon), and we would dig through all of my crap and giggle while we are re-arranging. When Mr. Forcryeye got home, he would find the house a mixed up disaster and you and I on the sofa watching a chic flick eating crab legs.

I would really like a church pew, not come across one yet, though last week bought a nice bench at the auction that I have now whitewashed, it kinda has the same feeling as a pew but err not quite!

love the story, can just imagine te car and sigh...the man...but you did leave us wondering...

I love church pews, too. Maybe they remind me of the big old Presbyterian church I grew up in! This is a great photo.

Glad your little one is feeling better. Mine was sick with the flu all week and finally went back to school. Yay.

I found you via Derfwad Manor. I love church pews too... I am more impressed that you had a boyfriend once that went junking with you. I wonder where he ended up?

I am so glad that your baby is healing. Yeah!

It was me who asked about the pillow. Thank you for the info on it.

I love the picture of the church pew. Maybe another one will come your way.
