More Coastal Frolicking..

As lucky as we were to be able to skip out to the beach this weekend, we were even more lucky in our treasure hunting.Clearly, we were ready- trusty Home Depot has supplied the Coastal Nest with enough plastic bags to hold a sand dollar or two. We were off...Can I take a good morning photo of self, or what.. ewww. Whose eyelids are almost sagging over her eyes, its soooo early. Most days are puffy eye days for me. Martha, help me!!!Remember how I spoke of just family bonding, and close talks?
Guess what??? Some kids are coming around to it. (also, some Fathers)As we took off to adventure the day away with our trusty Plastic Bag.. we did not even imagine that we could find what we did..More than one whole sand dollar-for sure. Mostly, the home depot again filled me with dissapointment. Breaking over the sheer bulk of our booty.Quite possibly 100 shells?!
Then Bob had to show off his clam digging skills-sans shovel.
Oh yeah, hes good... Nice form-no? Also nice legs, Villa.."Children, gather round, watch how its done, your ol man diggin clams bear handed"
look at that toothy grin on my man. (I.LOVE.YOU.!) Here he is! although, he went back to the whole that he was so rudely dug from.
Sorry clammy..

Saw plenty of these dudes also. Hey Paula, get your fork!!!
All and all we had a wonderful lil escape.

Oh yeah, we HAD to endure this sunset, too.

.....AMAZING.....

?what did you do this weekend?

Hi, Lisa,
Thanks for visiting me. I do love WA. I lived in Mossyrock for a year with my aunt and uncle. We used to go to Centralia/Chehalis to shop. I visited the WA coast a few times, too, and loved it!

What a great weekend--and beautifully documented. The things you must endure in your coastal paradise. . .

oH MY GoD! I have to come there NOW. I could eat that crab right on the beach...just give me some boiling water, a baked potato and drawn butter...yummy yum yum. You know it has been my lifelong dream to go clamming. I love crab so much that when I watch Deadliest Catch, I get hungry. You look divine in the morning, and BV's legs are fantastic. Why didn't you eat that clam? Did those sandollars wash up on shore? So many questions...*salivating, with fork in hand*....
