The sea was angry that day, my friend....

Hi there,
This is a photo from my bar stool..
We were hard at work, yes..painting, flooring you name it
we were doing it on Friday.
A good babysitter at home, an early off for my
fabulous, ever handy, rough handed (and handsome) BobVilla. We were
out to the beach at 2pm. A great start!
"We can get out there early, stay late- and get some loggin done"
If you watch Discovery Channel, well--Ax men..These are our friends, neighbors
and countrymen..And getting some loggin done 'round here means
WORK..(I love me some Ax men.) My peeps..
Except for today.."The sea was angry, my friend.." in the ponderous words of
George Costanza..B R R R R R...and.....W I N D Y
The power went out. So guess what-- the only "right" thing to do--
you got it-Walk across the street to the good ol Restaurant/Bar at the Naval Base
and get into some high priority talks..
yep..(I see someones beautiful clef chin!!!)

We had lots of good discussion over a piping hot bowl of clam chowder and a wonderful shrimp caesar salad..oh yeah..you cant forget the Landshark..Lucky for us, they were good and cold.

Of course, bobV finished off both bowls-The chowder AND the salad. We had great conversation on our lil kids, our wonderful life, the white boogers in our noses from all the drywall dust and how rough and dry our skin is.

This here, shes MaryEllen.. Shes chief cook and bottle washer, over here at the Navy base..also funny as all get out..

She brought us a few more landsharks, then guess what??? ZZZZrrrrooommmpppp.......

Power was restored!! That was quick, only about 2 hours, so--Back to work!

"Not so fast, woman.." BV says, with a little buzzed gleam in his eye..

First we had to make out like a couple of highschoolers--no, Martha-- not in the Bar, we waited till we got to the car..

I love me them rough dry hands, specially when they are all over me!!

did I say we were going to get some work done??

I miss the ocean. I grew up in Pacifica Ca. It was so cold at the beach sometimes, we'd have to wear our down coats. I miss the waves. I could stare at them all day. Looks like you had a great outing. I'm way overdue for one. Thanks for the comment you left me. I'm sorry that your closet is smaller than mine. I didn't think that was possible. Hope you have a great week, Lisa!

We were on the coast at Christmas and was lucky enough to have Ocean view and it was cold and angry as well. But I liked it. I always go when its sunnier and calmer and it was nice to see it rage and wave crashing. It looks like a yummy feast and fun times.

How romantic is that? A little lights out getaway lunch, and a make out session? You are living the dream girl.
