Think Pink....?

So, 2011s color of the year...hmm, I really love the color, especially ON anyone. Take my word, you look beautiful in pink.

At the shop we have seen new swatchs come in any shade of pink from beautiful baby pink (my very fave) to the brightest hot pinks..

There is a special place in my heart for this delicate color, especially on a cherry tree ready to bloom its beautiful cups of blushing pink. A sure sign of springtime.

My sweet girl is turning 6 very soon. With 2 big brothers she runs with the doggies, but could bathe in pink if she could..I think I am going to pop over to Etsy and find some fantastical pink party supplies..
a nice suprise for a pinkalicious girls special day..
any suggestions on where or who has some great things??

Do you do pink?
on walls? Furniture? what?

Rebekah just turned 6 on January 8th. I didn't really care for pink before, but since she loves it SO MUCH it's grown on me and I am now drawn to the color (I prefer the light pinks myself).

Love your pinks..especially that smushy sweater!! My now 11 year old.. no longer wants the "Pink" room... I am procrastinating doing away with it to move onto the "purple..ROXY chick" room she so is begging for! AHHHHH!

I'm a true blue girl myself, but I have to say I have a soft spot for soft pinks (Blush and Bashful ~ just like Shelby from Steele Magnolias)

I really don't do pink, but the occasional time I do wear it I always get heaps of compliments. I think the Pink Gods are trying to tell me something! Loved your comments over @ The Hedge today dear Lisa, thank yo.

I have always loved pink in all of it'sincarnations. MY only daughter, however, won't touch it with a ten foot pole.

Harumph.

Happy 6 to your little darlin'. Sweet sweet age!

I like bright pink in tiny doses (like my lap top bag) but for the home I like pales - peaches to pinks that look like dawn or dusk. And they are great split complements to greens and blues, my go to colors!
