King of the Castle..

My beautiful husband and the father of my brood is having his birthday today..

Holy smokes!

He acts 1/3 his age..he he..

He is the best ever and I wish him all the best for this next year and always.

Who or What is Coastal nest?

Mostly, the Coastal Nest is me, the author of this blog- the girl in the photo above.. Its also my home in which I live, because its on the coast in Washington state. It also was born of a charming, heartily neglected -but lovely- little cottage we ran across on the Pacific Northwest Coast one day. Which my young family has amazingly renovated and are now enjoying..and its also a dream..one I am sharing right here, right now.. with you! These are my blatherings.
