who can assist a poor blogger???

This is the photo that I wanted for my header, for some reason, of which I do not know blogger is only using part of the photo. I have sat here and asked my computer very nicely to fix itself. She is not listening, like some teenager. Could anyone tell Coastal Nest just what is going on here? Please dont say its age related, because I am feeling a bit fragile of the double 4s lately. Just last week my sweet hubby and I were talking about how badly we both need some cheater-readers. Oy with the age.. Help a sista out..like helping a kindly old woman across the street, will ya??

Wish I could help but I had the same problem with several pics a week ago. I just could not get the whole photo up in the header. Two of the photos were ones I had previously used with no problem. I gave up and learned how to make a collage instead. I know how frustrating it is though.

Okay, I'm actually glad to read this- I just emailed a friend to tell her that her most recent blog post lopped off all the right sides of the photos. It must be Blogger having an issue this morning. I'd try again later. I really don't think it's you doing anything wrong! :)

I am in the process of starting a blog and have learned that you may have to shrink the pixels on the picture in order for it to fit. You can use an application called picture manager and it will give you the option of resizing for use on the web. Hope this helps!

I am so sorry, I don't know how to "help a sista out", I would if I could. But I did want to say I am loving your blog button and am rushing to put it over on my blog. And in my mind if you can't get it to work, at least you look fabulous!

Did you check the "Shrink to fit" button. Just a thought. Blogger can be so darn silly at times. Good luck.

Good luck, dear. Try what Susie said. I like the picture. I hope it works!

Hugs!!

Make the image 660pix wide that's the size of your "header wrapper" in the template, and you should be fine, or perhaps a tiny bit smaller even, like 658 because of the border.

Hope this helps.

I love visiting this blog but I must tell you that I feel so inadequate today, in offering any sort of help for you. I cannot fix this header picture situation since I am in the learning process myself, and I can't help with the flowering tree taking over your front yard, because there again, I don't even know what I would do in that situation. I can tell you that age with double 4s, is NOT old age. Now maybe double 5s is old. Wait...I'm even past that. Hope you feel younger now. I do like the picture you want to post. I like all the pictures you have for your header pictures.
