A full moon on a dark dark night, lost in the middle of nowhere, because your boyfriend forgot to fill up the gasssss. Scary..
Then, there is always the crazy girl with the big knife scary, shiverrrrrrr..

My most un-savory scary..( ~~~I cant even look at it~~~ )

Lets go for a dig!
We love Fall, when the weather turns crisp and cold and the leaves on the trees change and fall to the ground.
We will be here, on this gorgeous stretch of beach we call our own.
But mostly, in the winter, and especially when they decided to allow clam digging, it looks something like this..You can see it Here
which is a very bad and totally lowsey representation of how to dig clams, but the ONLY video I have..Plus, its kinda funny to see my sappy self on tape and my drown husband get skunked, (because he is very much a professional clam digger...)
Heaven help us..I will take the old camera this weekend too, and will report back.
wish us luck!
Get your dig on, people~!

If you really can EVEN believe this...
Coastal Living Magazine has contacted the now 44 year old Coastal Nest gal to do a review of their October issue. Yes, girls..I nearly fell off my seat. Okay, I DID fall off my seat.

Steve have been to this magnificent place, we traveled here with our infant son many summers ago. Yachats Oregon is a darling little town. There are 5 other wonderful haunts..Find one near you--if you dare!
In the wonderful spirit of Coastal Living magazine, writer Melissa Bigner describes what it takes for a....

My favorite, you ask...its the courtyard.

A day in the life...
Funny thing is, I don't feel like I am 44.
So, say something nice to me today.
Leave me a cheery birthday greeting...you know, to make my day..
The cutest one is going to get a sweet little birthday present just from me, you know.
Because I am sweet like that..
Then while you at it, and wanting to please the birthday girl, why don't you be a follower of Coastal Nest...I'm nearing the 100 mark,98, to be exact... and really- that's a birthday gift that you don't even have to go to the mall for!
