Change..is in the air

Clearly, the rains have arrived to Washington State.
Im not sure Im ready for this part of the year.
My roof is still not fixed
NO THANKS TO FARMERS INSURANCE
People, if you learn one thing from reading this mindless nonsense I write about here, its this.
if you have FARMERS insurance
Please PLEASE do yourself a favor..
FIND.ANOTHER.COMPANY!!!

We ask nothing more than to get our roof fixed from dammages we suffered

LAST DECEMBER

5 bids from qualified contractors state the roof is in need of more than repair, caused by the "wind lift"

FARMERS INSURANCE, who I have had for 15 years..

SENT ME A CHECK FOR $118.00

The lowest bid for fixing the damage, you ask?

25,992.oo

This is all separate from any problems that my glorious

GRAND HERON has had.

Thats another dreadful story.

How rotten!! How do they justify $118? That would probably cover a contractor pulling in your driveway and leaving.

I was in a minor car accident Monday and it was the other guys fault. Guess what he has for insurance - yep - Farmers. We're still waiting for them to come look at my car so we can have it fixed. Our body shop guy says Farmer's is one of his least favorite companies to work with.

Good luck with your roof. I hope they come to their senses (and quickly).

What a drag! I'm so sorry they're continuing to screw you over--how frustrating!

Bastards. Keep at 'em. Seriously.

It seems like so many businesses are so greedy...they want to take your money (your premiums) but when it's their turn to shell out some money, they give you a run around. That roof should have been fixed months ago.

Losers! Insurance companies are the lowest. Although, I had state farm when my car got stolen. They paid me off, I asked for more, they gave it to me, everyone was happy. A year later, someone at SF reviewed my file to make sure I had been paid fairly, and determined that they should give me more money, AFTER I HAD ALREADY SIGNED OFF ON IT! The only insurance company I will ever have.

When I worked for a law office, one of the lawyers there said Farmers was the worst for getting money out of. I suppose this is one of those "squeaky wheel gets the grease" (or money), type of deals! What a pain.
