Beach Scenes

Coastal Nest

This magnificent creature kept watch on us one morning walk.

We gauged it to be about 4 feet tall from other birds trying to distract him from his morning feast. His mate was on the beach "fishing" what a sight.

Only at the beach.

Who or What is Coastal nest?

Mostly, the Coastal Nest is me, the author of this blog- the girl in the photo above.. Its also my home in which I live, because its on the coast in Washington state. It also was born of a charming, heartily neglected -but lovely- little cottage we ran across on the Pacific Northwest Coast one day. Which my young family has amazingly renovated and are now enjoying..and its also a dream..one I am sharing right here, right now.. with you! These are my blatherings.
