I thought that it would be fun to a little crafty..
So, I got a few things from my not so local craft store in Olympia..I loved these little tags..
and the numbers fit perfectly..
I had to actually order these online, I do not remember the store, but I just googled mini glavinized bucket.. the store popped right up, and they were only about 65 cents a piece..
Wendy Addison star garland from last year and a little black and silvery white striped ribbon from...oy...the walmarts..I know, I know.
I spent exactly one hour and a half using my nimble little fingers tying these on to the mini buckets. I also watched an entire Hallmark Channel Christmas special with Susan Lucci, playing some kind of "A Christmas Carol" Scrooge..yes, the kleenex was used, too. That Hallmark Channel gets me every time.
Now that we are talking about television. Wait wait....the buckets..
then, the hot glue gun...BE CAREFUL!! separated the star garland with my trusty scissors, tied a simple cute knot and glued them both together...
Voila!!
Garnet Hill has their version of this cute Advent, I totally kinda took their idea and morphed it into what I wanted.
I also only did 12 days of Christmas, just simply because I ran out of time and thought the kids wouldnt notice. Do you think??
Merry Christmas, dear reader...
