A Thanksgiving review.....

This is where I grew up.. although, right now, it looks somewhat like a restaurant.
I have treasures of memories in this house. Yesterday, another was made with
Thanksgiving 2009.
Gathering around the thanksgiving buffet. Hey Cutz..see the Turnip gratin??

Mom, Dad and the two oldest grandkids Darryl and Miles..Hey Dad!! Open your eyes!
Mom and her sister, Teta Phyllis.

The ultra cheesey couple..
My Mothers Black toast and marmalade dishes, looking lovely.

Grama and her little kiddies Finn and Jack..on fudge overload..and below, the cute babies of the family Reagan and Drew..

This is what Thermadors are made for..
Doing big dishes in the utility room. My handsome and handy companion of 19 years, Mr WoNdErFuL!!

My brothers big hands, messing with the leftover taters..Making the devils tower...rememeber, anyone???
Excellent cousin Marcy and her hubby Jimmer, who by the way, makes the best MArTiNiS eva..

Happy Thanksgiving
2009
We hope you had a great day!

I just love seeing all your pictures! And it looks like your gratin turned out way better than mine did! Oh well... it finished cooking by the time dinner was done.

Looks like a grand time was had by all Lise! And ya gotta love a man who tackles the big dishes that no one else wants to do - what a star he is!

I consider it a privilege to step into your world for a few minutes. What a joy it is to spend time with family, and yours like a fun one to be part of. I think it would be so much fun to have a Thermador oven. I could use the space that it provides. And, a sink outside of the kitchen to use for washing dishes...what fun! Loved seeing all of the pictures.

Fab pictures of a fab family! I have to know the name/company of the plates in the first photo! I had those exact dishes and could not find them to put on my inventory! Hope yours was a fantastic Thanksgiving...we are well on our way to Christmas, and I am very thankful for you!

I'm from Coupeville! ....Whidbey Island, but I live in Virginia.

Love it here. Love it there--miss it like crazy. Would miss here if there! Always want to be where I'm not ...

Thanks for giving me a little slice of the west coast today!
