This is where I grew up.. although, right now, it looks somewhat like a restaurant.
I have treasures of memories in this house. Yesterday, another was made with
Thanksgiving 2009.
Mom and her sister, Teta Phyllis.
My Mothers Black toast and marmalade dishes, looking lovely.
Grama and her little kiddies Finn and Jack..on fudge overload..and below, the cute babies of the family Reagan and Drew..
Doing big dishes in the utility room. My handsome and handy companion of 19 years, Mr WoNdErFuL!!
My brothers big hands, messing with the leftover taters..Making the devils tower...rememeber, anyone???
Happy Thanksgiving
2009
We hope you had a great day!

I just love seeing all your pictures! And it looks like your gratin turned out way better than mine did! Oh well... it finished cooking by the time dinner was done.
Looks like a grand time was had by all Lise! And ya gotta love a man who tackles the big dishes that no one else wants to do - what a star he is!

I consider it a privilege to step into your world for a few minutes. What a joy it is to spend time with family, and yours like a fun one to be part of. I think it would be so much fun to have a Thermador oven. I could use the space that it provides. And, a sink outside of the kitchen to use for washing dishes...what fun! Loved seeing all of the pictures.
Looks like a blast - hope there was some Croation dishes on your table...we were in SF and had a great time eatin and drinkin-OK mostly drinkin!!
It looks like you had a lovely time. It makes me miss my sister even more.

Fab pictures of a fab family! I have to know the name/company of the plates in the first photo! I had those exact dishes and could not find them to put on my inventory! Hope yours was a fantastic Thanksgiving...we are well on our way to Christmas, and I am very thankful for you!
It sounds like a lovely day! We should all be so lucky.
Pesty Paula here. Ok, the plates that say cloves of garlic are different...those are the ones I had...there were other veggies too: ie:asparagus...I can't find them anywhere...is there a mark on the bottom? THANK YOU! I never thought I would find them again!!! I ordered an Emma Bridgewater catalog to get the serving pieces! We are so alike! MWAH!
Lovely! Found you over on Bossy's blog.
