a+ decorating

What a beautiful space Theres something about this bathroom, soothing soft, primitive, yet polished. I adore this rickety white painted shelf with the sea blue pottery ware inside.
The wainscotting and the clawfoot tub lead you to vintage times, and a good soak. I adore the marble table close, for a candle and some flowers, and possibly a nice glass of wine??
The etched mirror is wonderful, the curves are fun in this room of straight lines. Subtle color on the walls enveloping the whole room in a sunny light. Its not opulent or 1000 square feet of marble or granite. This is what I think I like about it best.
Real life decorating, for..real life..how novel!

  1. Gorgeous bathroom. You're right on--it's calming and spa-like without being over the top. J'adore the clawfoot bathtub.

  4. This is what Heaven looks like to me. I can see myself in that tub! I don't bathe now because the only bathtub is avocado green and I got stuck in it when I was in labor with my youngest. I love the water and would love to soak. Is this your bathroom? Would you mind if I stopped by? LOL!! Thanks for the eye candy. If this is yours, enjoy!! Hugs!

  5. LOVE that bathroom. Someday I will own a clawfoot tub!! I too appreciate the quietness of the decor. I recently bought some blue paint called "whisper" and it reminds me of those photos. :0)

  7. If that was my bathroom, the towels would have red kool-aid stains on them, the grout would be blackened, the mirror cracked and dirty, and the woodworked knicked. Other than that, I would love it. Now, come and see what HIM and I have been up to.
